Add Contacts

By default, the Contacts list contains email addresses for people to whom you have replied (non-spam correspondents). You can also add Contacts individually to the list, or import them in bulk from another application.

Add individual contact

  1. Click the Add Contact button on the toolbar
  2. Type the email address of the new contact into the box provided
  3. Click OK

The new contact's entry will open.

Import multiple contacts

This function works best importing from Outlook, Outlook Express, and Gmail.

  1. Open your existing email client
  2. Export your Contacts/Address book listing to CSV (comma separated values) format (in Gmail, choose the "Outlook format" CSV)
  3. NOTE: This option is usually available on the File menu as "Export" or "Save As"

  4. Log in to your Email Center Pro Account
  5. Click the Contacts tab
  6. Click the down arrow next to Add Contact on the toolbar
  7. Click Import Contacts
    • CSV File: Click Browse and navigate to the exported CSV file
    • Tags: Apply any desired tags to this group of contacts
    • Update: Check the box to overwrite existing ECP entries for these contacts with the new imported information; leave unchecked to add new contacts only
  8. Click Import
  9. The Contacts list will include the new contact information you have imported.

NOTE: The Contacts import works only if the CSV contains a field titled "E-mail Address" (this is a default heading in Outlook CSV). Without this field, Email Center Pro cannot parse your contact data correctly.
