Email this article to a friend

Open Contact

From the Contacts tab, click to select a contact, and click Open Contact on the toolbar.

See Conversations

The pane on the right will display all conversations involving that Contact. Click any conversation for a preview.

See Recent Actions and History

In the left pane, the Recent Actions section lists actions related to that contact (dates on which a message was received or sent, tickets issued, or call logs).

See older actions

  1. Click All Actions
  2. Filter, if desired, by Mailbox, User, and other criteria

NOTE: This filtering works the same way as the Recent Actions widget on the Dashboard, automatically filtering by the contact's email address(es).

Add Contact Cards

Email Center Pro can store multiple sets of information about each contact (such as home and work addresses or IM) on individual Contact Cards.

  1. In the left pane, click Add New Card
  2. Fill in the Label and any desired details, and click Save Card

Talk to Contact

From the Contacts tab, you can quickly email, call, or IM any contact.

By Email

  1. Click to select a contact name from the list
  2. Click Send Email on the toolbar
  3. The new email will begin a new conversation (this has the same function as Break from Conversation)

By Phone

NOTE: There must be a phone number entered in a Contact Card for this feature to work.

  1. Click a Contact name from the list
  2. Click Open Contact on the toolbar
  3. On the left-hand pane, click Call Contact

By Instant Message (IM)

NOTE: There must be an IM address entered in a Contact Card for this feature to work.

  1. Click a Contact name from the list
  2. Click Open Contact on the toolbar
  3. On the left-hand pane, click IM Contact
  4. Your default instant messenger will open a conversation with the contact's IM address

TIP: Open Contact from Conversation

You can also click the Contact icon in the To: or From: fields of any email conversation to open the contact.
