Inbox tab

The Inbox tab (next to the Dashboard) shows you all the email Conversations in a particular mailbox, depending on the Filters you have selected.

Conversations are listed by correspondent (From), Subject and Date. Click on any of these headings to sort mail by these criteria.

  • Unread conversations will show in bold.
  • You can click on any conversation to see a preview, or double-click to open it.
  • The buttons on the Message toolbar let you quickly Assign, Move, Archive, mark as Spam, or permanently Delete any selected conversation(s).
  • The icons to the left of each message give you a quick overview of the message history or status.

Most recent messages first

The most recent message in the conversation is at the top, with earlier email messages below it. Each individual email in the conversation is clearly demarcated in its own box.

Internal Notes and History on the right

A full history of the conversation, including assigning, replying, and any internal Notes, will display on the right-hand side of the preview; these notes are useful to store internal communications about the conversation, and they are not included with any email replies. Only other Email Center Pro users on your account can see them.
