Move Email

Emails are delivered to the mailbox associated with the incoming email address, according to the Account Settings for each Mailbox. You can manually move email conversations, plus associated notes, to any other mailbox within Email Center Pro.

TIP: Moving mail is different from Archiving it

Clicking Archive, Spam, or Delete from the message toolbar moves the conversation to a different folder in the current mailbox. Clicking Move lets you move a conversation to a different Mailbox entirely, such as from "Sales" to "Customer Support."

PROCEDURES:

  • Highlight the email from the Inbox
  • The box to the left of the email will be selected
  • Click the Move button on the toolbar
  • Point to the folder name where you wish to move the email
  • Click Inbox or Archive*

A confirmation message will display across the top of the list

NOTE: If you click directly on the folder name, the email will move into the Inbox of that folder.
